How to play GBA in Wii? Tutorial

The Nintendo Wii through the Virtual Console can play NES, Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis and TurboGrafx-16. You can also play Gamecube games and even Gamecube Homebrew.

Now, tonight having tried it myself I can reveal to you all that GBA games work on Nintendo Wii via the Gamecube port.

Now, how does that work you ask, and some years ago took the Datel Advance Game Port is a device that plugs into the card slot Memory Gamecube and then connect your GBA games and play them that the big screen.

First you need some elements to do this, Heres what you need:

An action replay kit for GC

The Action Replay for GameCube will cost about $ 25, but besides being the device needed to boot your homebrew Gamecube also a region free disk boot device and Tricks, is worth the cost.

If the game is over Asia do not have the Action Replay for Nintendo GameCube in stock to try, Divineo Germany, Divineo France and Divineo Spain

A GamePort Advance GC

Now not many shops still have the Advance Game Port, but tonight I've contacted Datel and they have asked if they will make a repetition of the product. Ebay, Amazon, etc. may be your best option.

OK Let

Heres the instructions
First start up your Nintendo Wii
2 Insert the Action Replay for Gamecube Disc
Then go to the Freeloader option in the Action Replay
Use that disk to boot the Advance Game Port (startup disk)
Connect the Advance Game Port
Connect a GBA game in the Advance Game Port
Finally boot up
Then hey presto you'll play your favorite game of GBA or GBA Homebrew / Emulator for GBA on your Nintendo Wii and thats without having to hack the hardware.

Make sure your using the Action Replay using the built in Freeloader.
